Food storage can be pretty exciting if you know your way around a kitchen. It’s actually a pretty interesting term. Food storage can mean a number of things to different people.

A very effective use of canning foods is to can things like chicken or beef stock. These bases can become sauces, soups or even be used to braise tough cuts of meat and make them sublime. That is just one aspect of what you can do with canning.

Did you know you can also can meats in their entirety? Canned meats are something to get excited about in the winter. While you might get tired of eating tomato sauce, its always good to have a little meat.

When it comes to food storage you wanna be sure that you take advantage of the possible diversity. Even when there is very little food around you can still get picky and not want to eat the same foods over and over again.
